العاصمة عدن’ مكتب الإعلام “خاص:
خرجت نساء الجنوب مساء أمس الجمعة 16 مايو 2025م وقفة سلمية حاشدة وسط العاصمة عدن، تعبيرًا عن الغضب الشعبي المتصاعد إزاء التدهور غير المسبوق في الوضع المعيشي والانهيار شبه الكامل للخدمات العامة، وعلى رأسها الكهرباء والمياه والصحة والتعليم.
لقد جاءت هذه الوقفة بدافع الألم لا الدعاية، بدافع المسؤولية لا الاستعراض. نساء عدن خرجن وهنّ يحملن وجع الأمهات، وحيرة الأسر، ومعاناة مجتمعٍ أنهكته سنوات الحرب، ووعود السلام غير المنجزة. إن ما تشهده العاصمة عدن اليوم من تراجع حاد في الخدمات لا يمكن فصله عن سوء الإدارة، وغياب المساءلة، وتجاهل المجتمع الدولي لمصير سكان المناطق المحررة منذ أكثر من عقد.
وإننا، إذ نخاطب عبر هذا البيان مكتب المبعوث الأممي إلى اليمن وأعضاء الرباعية الدولية، نؤكد أن المسؤولية الأخلاقية والسياسية لا تُقاس فقط بمدى التقدّم في مسارات الحل السياسي، بل بمدى ما يتحقق من أثر ملموس في حياة الناس اليومية، وفي مقدمتهم النساء والأطفال.
وعليه، فإننا نطالب بالآتي:
1. ممارسة ضغط دولي فعّال لإعادة تصدير النفط والغاز، واستخدام العائدات بشكل شفاف لتحسين الخدمات ومعالجة الأزمات الاقتصادية المتفاقمة، بما في ذلك التداعيات الناتجة عن موجات النزوح المتواصلة إلى الجنوب.
2. فتح تحقيق أممي مستقل وشفاف حول الفساد وسوء الإدارة في المؤسسات الخدمية، لا سيما في قطاعات الكهرباء، الصحة، والمياه، ومحاسبة الجهات المتورطة في تعميق معاناة السكان.
3. دعم المشاركة الفاعلة للمرأة الجنوبية في عمليات التفاوض وصنع القرار، انطلاقًا من دورها الميداني والمجتمعي في مواجهة الأزمات، ومن إيماننا بأن إشراك النساء ليس ترفًا سياسيًا بل ضرورة إنقاذية.
4. إدراج قضايا معيشة السكان في خارطة الطريق الأممية، وربط أي مساعدات أو دعم دولي بإصلاحات حقيقية وشفافة في إدارة مؤسسات الدولة، وبآليات رقابة تضمن استدامة التحسينات على الأرض.
إن هذه الوقفة تمثل صوتًا جماعيًا متجذرًا في الوعي الشعبي الجنوبي، صوتًا لا يمكن كتمه أو تجاوزه. صوت المرأة الجنوبية هو اليوم صوت المجتمع بكامله، في مواجهة التجاهل المزمن لحقوقه، والإجحاف الممنهج في نصيبه من الدولة والدعم الدولي.
ونحن نحذّر من أن استمرار الصمت الدولي أمام هذا الانهيار، سيؤدي إلى مزيد من الفوضى والانفجار الاجتماعي، بما يهدد كل جهود التسوية السياسية.
نأمل أن يُستقبل هذا النداء بما يليق بجدّيته، وأن تتم ترجمة القلق الأممي والدولي إلى إجراءات عاجلة تُنقذ ما تبقّى من كرامة العيش في الجنوب.

Political Statement Issued by the Southern Women’s Rally in the Capital, Aden
Addressed to: The United Nations Special Envoy to Yemen, and the members of the Quad overseeing the Yemeni file

On the evening of Friday, 16 May 2025, Southern women held a large peaceful rally in the heart of the capital, Aden, expressing growing public anger over the unprecedented deterioration in living conditions and the near-total collapse of basic public services, foremost among them electricity, water, healthcare, and education.
This rally was driven by pain, not publicity—by responsibility, not spectacle. The women of Aden took to the streets bearing the anguish of mothers, the confusion of families, and the suffering of a society worn down by years of war and unfulfilled promises of peace. What is unfolding in Aden today is not merely a service crisis; it is a sharp and systematic collapse in the pillars of life—one that cannot be excused or ignored.
As we address this statement to the Office of the UN Envoy to Yemen and to the members of the international Quartet, we affirm that moral and political responsibility must not be measured solely by progress in political negotiations, but by the tangible impact on people’s daily lives—especially those of women and children.
Accordingly, we demand the following:
1. Effective international pressure to resume the export of oil and gas, and to ensure the revenues are used transparently to improve public services and address worsening economic crises, including the ramifications of continued waves of displacement into the south.
2. An independent and transparent UN-led investigation into corruption and mismanagement within public service institutions, particularly in the electricity, healthcare, and water sectors, and the prosecution of those responsible for deepening the suffering of the population.
3. Support for the active participation of Southern women in negotiation and decision-making processes, given their direct engagement on the ground in facing crises and our belief that including women is not a political luxury, but a practical necessity for survival.
4. The inclusion of the population’s living conditions as a priority within the UN roadmap, and the linking of any international assistance or funding to genuine, transparent reforms in public sector governance, along with monitoring mechanisms to ensure lasting improvements.
This rally represents a collective voice deeply rooted in the Southern public consciousness—a voice that cannot be silenced or bypassed. Today, the voice of Southern women is the voice of the entire community, confronting chronic neglect of their rights and systematic deprivation of their fair share in state resources and international support.
We warn that the ongoing international silence in the face of this collapse will only lead to further chaos and social upheaval, jeopardising all current efforts for political settlement.
We sincerely hope this appeal will be received with the seriousness it deserves, and that international and UN concern will be swiftly translated into urgent actions to salvage what remains of dignified life in the South.
